Studio Infinity embarked on a transformative journey with the task of designing the main office space for a client in Pune,India. Given the constraints of a compact commercial area and the need to accommodate extensive spatial requirements, our approach began with a meticulous analysis of functional needs and the creation of seamless circulation pathways between various departments.Prioritizing the delineation of visitor and staff movements, we allocated spaces accordingly to optimize efficiency
To transcend the conventional boundaries of rectangular layouts, we introduced a defining element: the curved wall. This architectural feature not only revolutionized the flow of movement but also reshaped the aesthetic character of the entire workspace.
A meticulously curated material palette comprising wood, grey veneer, and metal formed the cornerstone of our design language. Embracing a philosophy of minimalism, we leveraged the inherent qualities of these elements to imbue individual spaces with distinct identities while maintaining a cohesive visual narrative. The strategic use of vertical and horizontal lines served to modulate spatial volumes and ensure visual harmony throughout.
Confronted with asymmetrical sunlight exposure, we conceptualized a series of wooden screens to filter controlled natural light, creating a captivating focal point across the office. The sleek crisscross pattern of these screens extended seamlessly to furniture and tables, enhancing visual continuity and coherence.
In alignment with the client's specialization in HVAC systems, we chose to leave service elements exposed, eschewing conventional paneling or false ceilings. Careful attention was paid to the alignment of ducts, pipes, and cables throughout the office, with main ducts painted in a striking rust orange hue against a black ceiling, subtly highlighting the client's expertise.
Studio Infinity’s design ethos revolved around the seamless integration of functional imperatives with elemental materials, natural textures, and subdued hues, creating a dynamic environment that invites occupants and visitors alike to fully immerse themselves in the space.
